Freshers: Give some activities a go!

VP Activities Chaz Liddell updates on some exciting opportunities coming up this Fresher's Week.

It’s me Chaz Liddell, your barmy Vice-President for Activities!

I’ve got news more exciting than two-for-one beef pasties at Iceland!!! Two thumbs up if you’re ready to hear about our GIVE IT A GO SESSIONS!

Here at York we’re treated with over a hundred societies. If you don’t know what they are, they are clubs run by students, for students, in everything from Politics to Music, from Media to Harry bleeding Potter!

Basically, Give It A Go is a chance for you guys to see what some University Societies are like, whilst having rate FUUUNNN! The ones I’ve got lined up for you lucky boys and girls are all on the poster below:

We also have Muggle Soc holding a game of Quidditch in Week 2 which will be BESERK!!!

All sign ups for pretty much everything will be at Langwith Freshers' Fest on Tuesday, but more to come on that in my NEXT BLOG!!!!

In the spirit of Kerry Katona – that’s why the cool kids go to Langwith!!!!!!
