The first point of contact for students with emotional, psychological or mental health difficulties. As a team they form a multi-disciplinary collective of professionally trained staff with backgrounds in social work, nursing, counselling and psychotherapy.

The Advice & Support Centre is the Union’s main portal for providing information and help to students who have to overcome problems at University. It's an alternative to the University-run services.

 

As well as advice, the ASC can provide free condoms and lube. Just drop in and pick some up.

Support Services

The universities doctor led health centre, Unity Health can be found on Hes West. Please ensure you register to use the service at the earliest possible opportunity. There will be a sign up session at the University Fresher’s fair in week 1.

The College Welfare Team are dedicated members of Langwith College staff. They are a vital first port of call and can signpost you to support services around the University. Best of all, they live in the college and are available 24-hours a day.
